In this guide One Click Templates may be abbreviated to OCTs.
View below how to get an OCT configured.
Step 1
Navigate to the HSVE Website and click on the Pages > Downloads Navigation Item.
Step 2
Choose from our readily available templates and click on one of the icons.
Step 3
Once you click on one of the icons you will reach our Sharepoint CDN where you can download the image in one of two ways, either a direct download or using a torrent client. Select one of them (Direct download shown in example below) and click on download.
Step 4
Navigate to the WinSCP website and download and install the application using a typical installation method.
Step 5
Once WinSCP is installed open the application and you should see a screen like below. Enter the details into the corresponding fields putting the IP Address of your Proxmox server in the Hostname Field. The default username for Proxmox is 'root'
Step 6
Once we're connected to our proxmox server we need to navigate to /var/lib/vz/dump as shown below and drag over our template.
Step 7
Once the template is copied over, navigate to the Proxmox Web UI and carry out the following steps shown below : 'local' > 'Backups' > 'vzdump...-' > 'Restore'
Step 8
- Select your storage. Won't restore to it's place of origin.
- Tick unique.
- Hit restore.
Your done! You can now power up your VM Note, make sure to read the VM notes to see if any extra configuration is required for your system.
