Note : Laptops and Mini-PCs aren't recommended to use with the New-Way, due to hardware passthrough limitations, especially with APUs/iGPUs.
What is 'The New Way'?

This innovative method employs the Proxmox Virtual Environment, an open-source hypervisor platform, to virtualize your Hackintosh in a Virtual Machine (VM). The New Way eliminates the need for complex installations and presents no performance loss, unlike the traditional bare-metal route. We have simplified the process by creating downloadable ‘Templates’ for Proxmox installation, making the setup a simple ‘1-Click install’ of macOS, transforming your PC into a Hackintosh. How do I get started with The New Way?
Note : It’s crucial to conduct a hardware check before selecting a macOS version. If your CPU supports AVX2, you can utilize any version up to Sonoma. If not, Monterey is the latest version you can operate. Please refer to your CPU vendor’s website for further details.

I’m sure you are curious about what the best OS is to use for your New-Way Hackintosh. Not to worry, I will explain in our opinion the best supported macOS version you can use in your Hackintosh. Lets go into more detail below:
macOS Monterey
Monterey is currently the best supported Operating system you can use with your New Way Hackintosh. You may ask why?
As of February 2024 macOS Monterey is still in support from Apple with most apps working still! All Fenvi WiFi and Bluetooth cards are supported out of the box too without any additional patches. Regarding GPU Support all the GPUs in This List are supported and any unreferenced GPUs are not supported.
Regarding stability macOS Monterey is also very stable with Hackintosh being the most stable and the smoothest at running any kinds of applications.
