An SMBIOS change allows you to change the information about the device you are hackintoshing for example making macOS think the device its running on is for example a Mac Mini or a Mac Pro. Watch the video below to learn how to change the SMBIOS info using Opencore Configurator which can be downloaded from the link below. I also use Clover Configurator to mount the EFI to make it easier than using a command line tool. Download them both from the link below.
